Since days of old, churches have been the places where the local
community gathered for festivals. The heart of country life, the
medieval fair was where lords and ladies, knights and peasants came to
buy and sell wares, and be entertained by games, singing and dancing.
Fairs
offer a time of merry-making and outreach in the community. Good
Shepherd is pleased to invite everyone to gather at this church for a
festival day. With this event we keep alive the community-building
spirit of a fair and offer families, neighbors, and friends a fun
filled day together.
Rejoice
before God. Be merry and joyful! -- Psalm 68.
